For no particular reason, I'm looking up some classic TV car ads tonight. My absolute favorite of all time has to be those from Nissan in the late 80s and early 90s. When I was in high school, I wanted a Z so badly, and the ads were a primary motivation. Amazingly, the campaign was nearly universally panned at the time, too ( Read more... )

Finally had a chance to log on and post a quick update from Honolulu--things are great! Other than a minor sunburn the first day, plus a subsequent cold that I haven't quite been able to shake, the trip's been fabulous.
